However, the process of actualizing this beautiful and fantastic aspiration is an odyssey spanning over eight decades. 2015/01/31～2015/11/01PAST EXHIBITION Introduction My Dream Our Dream Everyone's Dream Building our Museum：The Tainan Metropolitan Park Chimei Museum The childhood dream, inspired by the Tainan Prefecture Educational Museum and culminated with the opening of the Chimei Museum, is a real-world manifestation of the cherished personal values of Wen-long Shi. The pursuit of his dream required a lengthy period of contemplation and planning, added to which was his conglomerate's full shifting of resources into needed areas, plus the collaboration of many eminent public figures. Only in so doing was the dream, an epic undertaking if ever there was one, able to come to fruition. From the construction phase, hardware facilities, and park environment to the exhibition content necessitated innumerable detailed discussions and the assembling of a grand host of interdisciplinary specialists devoted to this enterprise which culminated in the emergence of a museum truly for the people. As time goes by, this veritable castle of dreams is increasingly and richly endowed with crystallized human intelligence, like an encyclopedia opened before the eyes of the inquisitive public, enriching people's wisdom, expanding their horizons, and encouraging you and I to endue and embrace greater dreams.
