Beyond the Shadows

Have you ever noticed the existence of shadows around you？
In real life, we are bound to perceive the existence and changes of "light," but rarely do we pay attention to the "shadow" behind the light. Beyond the Shadows is a collection of fifteen artists from Taiwan and abroad, these works have subverted the superior-subordinate relationship between light and shadow and will bring you the most astonishing viewing experience of “shadows” in life.

Description

Have you ever observed your own shadow?
Lights and shadows are the best partners! Once the light changes its place, the shadow will present the same image accordingly too, like dancing the elegant Pars de duex with various changes.
You are the light and I am the shadow. Together we can show creative body movements beyond our expectations.
Special collaboration with Cloud Gate Classroom, CHIMEI Museum invites parents to bring their children to move their body and play shadows together!

Children of Kindergarten and the middle and lower grades of elementary schools and their parents.


Sessions
  • I（17:00-17:40）, suitable for children age 3 to 5
  • II（17:50-18:30）, suitable for children age 6 to 10

Seats
30 pairs (one adult, one child) per session

NT$390/pair **In Mandarin Only**

Notice
  • There will be parent-child body stretching during the workshop. Please dress comfortable clothes and shoes for the ease of movement. For safety concerns, parents will be asked to accompany the child for the entire time.
  • After enrolled successfully, you will be notified by email or SMS.
